Bidding Information

On the Biddify platform, there are two types of bids: standard and auto.
Standard bids represent a commitment to pay an amount. They are immediately applied to the lot.
Auto bids represent a willingness to pay up to an amount. By placing an auto bid, you authorize the system to keep bidding on your behalf up to some threshold.1 The system will bid the minimum amount necessary for you to remain the highest bidder.
These bids that the system places are indicated by the following icon:

In the case of a tie, the system selects the earliest bid (among auto bids of the same target price, for example). Note that this may result in bidders bidding against themselves.
The 
symbol always marks the current highest bid.
1 Note that you can keep adjusting your threshold upward. To do this, simply auto bid a higher amount.
